The Colombia Texas Chamber of Commerce is delighted to invite you to the second edition of RECOGNITION AND CHARITY GALA. This is a great opportunity to support the Chamber, a non-profit organization that for the past five years has actively promoted commercial and cultural ties between Colombia and the State of Texas. 
The event will take place on January 25, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. at The Bell Tower on 34th (901 W. 34th St, Houston TX 77018). A silent auction will be held during the Pre-Gala Cocktail to support two non-profit organizations: Fundacion Daniel Rojas Mora and Houston Symphony.
During this special evening, CTCC will recognize outstanding achievements in our community. Following the recognition ceremony, guests will enjoy live music performances, dinner, and dance.

Fundacion Daniel Rojas Mora, a non-profit organization that helps Colombian students, with low income and high academic performance, to be able to finish college and become economically independent. 
One of the Houston Symphony’s Education and Community programs aim to provide gifted, young and emerging musicians an opportunity to present their work for a forum of nationally recognized and distinguished, professional musicians so they may be encouraged to aspire to the highest levels of performing excellence.
​Institución Educativa Islas del Rosario
The archipelago of our Lady of the Rosary in the Colombian Caribbean, has a single educational institution, which has graduated its first high school group only until 2012. Over the years, this school has improved its infrastructure and has been supported by programs such as "Computers to educate".
The institution serves 240 students in two daily sessions: morning corresponds to high school and middle school students and the afternoon to elementary students. 4 years ago it opened a night ​day so that young people and adults to conclude his studies, but was closed duo to very low attendance rates.
